We are pleased to inform you that Zinsmeyer Mechanical & Welding LTD. will be changing its name to Zinsmeyer Structural Steel LLC, effective January 1, 2019. This family-owned business was started in 1960 by Melvin and JoAnn Zinsmeyer and was formally known as Zinsmeyer Refrigeration. It then changed to Zinsmeyer Inc. in 1970 due to the expansion into the A/C and electrical industries. Then in 1998, Melvin and JoAnn Zinsmeyer sold the company to sons Leroy, Troy, and Kevin who, up until the end of 2018, have operated under the name Zinsmeyer Mechanical and Welding. 

Zinsmeyer Structural Steel LLC. (ZSS) will be owned and operated by Troy Zinsmeyer and son, Joshua Zinsmeyer. ZSS will continue to provide the highest quality of turn-key fabrication and erection projects. Over the years we have learned a great deal on how we could use being a fabricator and erector to our advantage to come up with solutions in the office that allow us to fabricate our steel to make buildings go up faster in the field. We strive to always get better and come up with new ways to speed up the structural steel fabrication and erection process. 

The Zinsmeyer name has been in the construction industry for over 68 years and would not be where it is at today without our customers’ support and trust in our products and services. As we look back on the projects that we have worked and the progress we have made, we would also like to thank our employees who have helped mold the fabrication and erection side into what it is today. We have built schools, retail centers, medical offices, stainless steel projects, and even a forty-foot pontoon boat out of all aluminum. We look forward to this new chapter of our business and are focused on providing our customers with the best products and services in the Industry.
